This is driving me crazy.

Yes, the paid-in-full crowd was 12,000 and change last night…but to anyone that was there, that was clearly not the actual attendance.  Last night was a Knothole Kid-Glove Game, where thousands of Knothole particpants, their families (and the public) could get a $14 View Level ticket for $8. As in years past, the Kid Glove attendance is not listed as part of the ‘official’ attendance.

My guess was the attendance was closer to the 18,000-20,000 range…not great but certainly not only 12,000.  I have yet to see an accurate description of the crowd last night from game recaps (as of 12:30am on Tuesday, 4/28) but I’m sure the Enquirer or the Reds will release how many Kid Glove tickets were sold…which will bump up the attendance.
