Lance Nix has now become the everyday left fielder, so here at Reds GUFS, we have nicknamed him…The Lynx.

- Jonny Gomes went 2 for 5 last night with a homer and three RBI’s.  He’s only hitting .250, but would be another power bat off the bench.  Would anyone be upset for sending Chris Dickerson down to AAA so he can play everyday, DFA’ing Darnell McDonald, and bringing up Jonny Gomes once Edwin Encarnacion comes off the DL?

- Word from the construction site of Queen City Square is that they are curious to how the new tallest building in Cincinnati will affect playing conditions at Great American Ballpark.  Will the jet stream that carries ball out of the park in left-center field be a thing of the past?  Will it make an impact similar to adding the humidor to Coors Field in Denver?  Stay tuned…
