Despite our best efforts, David ‘Stormy’ Weathers did not win the Fans Choice Bobblehead for July 18th.  However, Edinson Volquez did win the contest, and the Reds have released the bobblehead design.  The new company in charge of making the bobbleheads this season (Spittin’ Images) did a great job with the Votto likeness and I think the Reds have found a solid partner for the future.  Remember, we love bobbleheads around these parts.

The next bobblehead day is July 4th, featuring Jay Bruce in a Louisville Bats uniform (just kidding, I think).  Following Volquez, Brandon Phillips rounds out the bobblehead set on August 15th.  All four bobbleheads ‘connect’ to make a GABP backdrop (seen below).
