Ah the return of the doubleheader today at GABP (due to a rain out during the first week of the season in April).

While the doubleheader is a thing of the past like double features at the movies…there is a certain romantic quality about saying “let’s play two”.

Unfortunately, it’s the Reds trying to keep their stranglehold on 5th place as they take on the cellar-dwelling Buccos.  I think if actual attendance hits 20,000 for both games combined, it’s a minor miracle.

Anyone have some great doubleheader memories out there from years gone by?
